So the last few days in Dakar finally crept up. The final seminar week we didn't have too much scheduled. On Wednesday and Thursday we presented our final presentations.

Our finance class

On Friday we had a wrap-up session and talked about skills we gained. We had the afternoon off which I was going to relax, but of course Dakar wanted to do a proper send off so our electricity went off, and another girl got sick in our apartment, but honestly we just laughed. By the last week we just ended up leaving a mattress in our living room for whoever needed it.

We cleaned out our medicine cabinet and laughed because we probably had every type of medication needed

Friday night we had a farewell dinner. Someone played the Kora for us and a band came and played.

We had yummy food cooked. by the WARC staff and I took pictures and said final goodbyes.

We stayed up way too late Friday and had to wake up early for COVID tests. I was going to take a nap on Saturday but ended up going to the beach one last time.

Amene (the boy in the middle) really wanted me to walk him to school (he has tutoring on the weekends) since he was going to be gone when I left for the airport so that was cute.

Then we left Saturday night.
